Who Are We?

Kedleston Group is a family-owned group of independent specialist schools and children’s homes operating across the UK. Each year we support over 700 children from over 80 different Local Authorities through our specialist schools and children’s homes.

What We Do

We specialise in providing high-quality education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of needs, including autistic spectrum condition, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or social emotional and mental health needs.

Specialist Schools: Our 14 specialist day schools deliver personalised programmes of education and therapeutic interventions. Enabling children to learn skills for life and achieve relevant qualifications and awards.

Children’s Homes: Our children’s homes provide children with a safe and nurturing environment offering warm round-the-clock care and support where they can thrive and reach their potential.

Each of our provisions are tailored to meet the young person’s individual needs to provide the best opportunities to thrive and flourish.

Our schools follow the National Curriculum and have a strong educational focus. For many of our young people their previous experience in education has been a negative one, so we aim to re-ignite a passion for learning.

Our homes work to provide children with fantastic care which includes memorable experiences and results in positive outcomes for children and young people. We want the children we care for to have fun and be safe whilst they are with us and to feel treasured for who they are.
